Who I am.



Outwardly, I am typical Washingtonian in some ways. I work in the District, live in the suburbs, and I commute to and from work each day through a combination of ad-hoc ride sharing and our fair Metro system. I dress business casual, work in a building 12 stories tall, and spend most of my time on work that leaves me compensated, yet slightly unsatisfied. And I labor in the ahadow of the Government of the Free World, where Important People decide Important Things about six blocks away from me.



I own a cat. I have student loans. I once dreamed that I was destined for Huge, Important Things, but now I'm content with my own little piece of the human race. I do my job, and I do it well, and I derive some small satisfaction from that. I wish I had time to work out or to pursue an artistic hobby.



I am in my 30s, a bit pudgy, and I have a great sense of humor. If you meet me, I'll have you laughing hysteriy within 10 minutes. I see all of life's little ironies, including my those in my own life, and I'm not afraid to point them out.



I hate lima beans. I enjoy plays, particularly musicals. I dislike reality TV. I like steak. I can't stand sushi.



I come with minimal baggage, and I can handle it myself, thank you very much.



I'm introverted. I enjoy reading and photography. I prefer an afternoon at the museum over a night at the club. Heck, I'd prefer a root canal over a night at the club.



Who you are



I am interested in meeting a single woman, around my age. That is, mid 20s to mid 30s. I'd like to meet somebody who's optimistic about life and can chase away my rapidly growing cynicism.
