For one, I am very physiy intimidating. With my stature, I do tend to tower over toddlers and the sheer girth of my arms usually triggers people's sympathetic nervous system (I use the child size blood pressure cuff- scary!) My large magenta purse and notable lack of tattoos and piercings tends to make me look like I'm from the "wrong side of the tracks." Ugh, wish I could take those back. I'm so sorry for looking like I was minding my own business- that can really be perceived as a "challenge" by strangers. I was really just trying to get to my seminar for HR professionals and you look like you've never had a hard day in your life.
