I hitchhiked from Virginia to San Fransisco and flew back on stand-by for $99 with flowers in my hair from MacArthur's Park. I missed Woodstock completely because no one knew what big deal it was until it was all over. Did you go?...did you wear a flowered crown....and little else???? After my junior year of college, my best friend and I flew to Amsterdam and toured Europe with Eurail passes. I need to do that again!!! I think about outdoor picnics with red wine, cable channel diners, last-miute cruises, road-trips with a cool beer at day's end, used book sales and rollickiing canoe trips. But sometimes I just think about passion on a blanket under a warm sun......or better yet...a long warm shower......... for two. Or necking at the drive-in... I bet you do too!! Speaking of wine.....remember Boone's Farm?.....Thunderbird? Now comes in Raspberry and...for the elite..in Pomegranite....imagine! My kids are grown now. Both gals have their degrees, with no debt, and professional jobs. I finished my 35-yr career with a good pension and now I have a chance to start again. I moved to Minnesota during my transition from marriage, recently, to be with mom and sisters and their families. But I just bought a used Winnebago and drove it to Tampa with my disabled nephew and his stepdad. They flew home now and I am in Florida looking for a smart place to land for a while...or perhaps a long while... I am alone again....but ya know, I am never lonely. I try to see the good in everybody....and people seem to respond. I believe laughter is the music of life....I also believe that mutual attraction sustains the soul day-after-day! And I love the expression: Life is not about waiting for the rain to stop, instead, life is about learning to dance in the rain. Ain't that great? Life requires Leadership: When the wind shifts you can't bitch...you just gotta make adjustments. I am tall, 6'2" (or was).....it would be nice if you are a tall gal..maybe 5'7" plus.
