I'm a newbie in town, just moved here a few weeks ago from San Francisco. Although I was raised in Charlotte, I haven't lived here since high school, and lord knows, so much has changed...!

I haven't had much time to go exploring, mostly because it sucks to go carousing about town on your own. As for nightlife: dive bars, wine lounges, VIP velvet ropes, I'm down to go either which way-- just want to get OUT there with a like-minded galpal or two & see what Charlotte's all about.
